Cycling is Eagle-required as part of a choice group. Every Eagle Scout must earn Swimming, Hiking, or Cycling. Earning Cycling satisfies that requirement. If you also earn another badge from the same group, it counts as one of your 8 elective badges.

    Clean and adjust a bicycle. Prepare it for inspection. Demonstrate fixing a flat tire.

    Describe how to safely ride in a group.

    Take four rides of at least 10 miles each, two rides of at least 25 miles each, and one ride of at least 50 miles.
